We recommend that you choose your itinerary according to your evening plans and the ticket type purchased for the show.
We recommend that your give yourself plenty of time to get to the site and to take into consideration the large number of people trying to get to the event so that you can make it to Leamy Lake on time. Please take note that the municipal authorities reserve the right to refuse access to the site and its surroundings (industrial area) from 9 :30 on.
For GENERAL ADMISSION Ticket Holders :
- You can choose to park by the beach side of Leamy Lake Park by entering via the entrance located on Fournier Blvd.
- Please note that the Park is closed on days of the event (Morning to 6 PM)
- Gates will officialy open at 6 PM
- Onsite parking is $5
- Parking spaces available in limited quantity. First come, first served.
- From the GATINEAU and BUCKINGHAM Sectors :
- From OTTAWA :
- Take the MacDonald-Cartier Bridge
- Take the very first exit, the “Fournier / Maisonneuve” Exit, by staying of the right hand side of the fork so you can continue on Fournier Blvd
- Continue on Fournier Blvd until you reach the set of lights before the Lady Aberdeen Bridge
- At the set of lights, turn left to enter leamy Lake Park
- Continue on the Leamy Lake Parkway until the Sound of Light Checkpoint / National Bank Box Office

- If you’re planning on spending a good part of the evening of the “reserved seating side”, you can also choose to park there and to make you way to the “beach side” via the Park’s bicycle path.
For RESERVED TICKETS Ticket Holders :
- To park on the “reserved seating side”, we recommend that you make use of the recommended parking lots located in the Richelieu Industrial Park (Hull Sector):
- Gates will officialy open at 6 PM
- Official parking spaces are $8
- Parking in official Sound of Light parking lots is free, but users must pay the cost of the shuttle service in order to get to the main gate of the site (corner of De la Carrière Blvd and Leamy Lake Rd.)
- We cannot be held liable for any loss, theft or damaging of the property left behind in the parking area.
- We cannot be held liable for any problems that might occur on unofficial parking lots operated by any third party.
- Accessible via Highway 5 :
- Heading NORTH :
- Take the « St-Joseph Nord (North) » Exit
- Turn right and keep going on St-Joseph Blvd. up to Jean-Proulx St.
- Turn right on Jean-Proulx St.
- Turn left on Noël St. (1st on your left)
- Heading SOUTH :
- Take the « Mont Bleu » Exit
- At the Stop sign, go straight to the traffic lights
- Turn left on St-Joseph Blvd.
- Go straight on St-Joseph Blvd. up to Jean-Proulx St.
- Turn right on Jean-Proulx St.
- Turn left on Noël St. (1st on your left)
- Heading NORTH :
- Should you choose to arrive on the “reserved seating side” but that you are a “general admission” ticket holder, you can still use the above mentioned directions to gain access to our parking area and to make your way to our site. Once there, you’ll easily be able to gain access to the “beach area” by walking the bicycle path that circles the lake.

Casino Parking :
- From Highway 5, get to the Casino Lac-Leamy via the Casino Blvd Exit. Access to the parking area is close to the round-about.
Réno-Dépôt Parking :
- Get to your parking by using the Casino Blvd Exit and making your way to the entrance located behind the Réno-Dépôt store.
Restricted Mobility Parking Spaces
A small number of parking spaces are reserved for Sound of Lights spectators who make use of the recognized “Restricted Mobility” Parking Pass.
