After 7 years as a litterary columnist and reporter on Radio-Canada, in Ottawa, Valerie got back to her journalism roots in 2002 after being named Arts Editor with LeDroit.

Stu Schwartz
Host


Stu Schwartz is the host of the "Stuntman and the Shark" morning show on 93.9 Bob FM, and PA announcer for the Ottawa Senators. Stu joins us every year because he likes fireworks and a free meal!   

 
 

 

Jhade Montpetit
Cultural Reporter

For the last 10 years, Jhade, who is a true fan of arts and culture, has been working hard being both the face on tv and the voice on radio of what needs to be discovered on our active local scene.  This her 3rd year of participation as a Sound of Light juror. 

 

 

Denis Gratton
Journalist and columnist

Denis has been with the LeDroit for the last 18 years and was named the best columnist in Canada in 2003.

Alexandre Dubé
Journalist
 
Alexandre, who is a first-time Sound of Light jury member, started his career on Radio-Canada in Abitibi-Témiscamingue as anchor for the Téléjournal.  Nowadays, on top of his journalistic duties with TVA Gatineau-Ottawa, he can sometimes be seen main news broadcast on Vtv or heard on the morning show on 96,5 Capitale Rock.

Max Keeping
Community Ambassador

Max is CTV-Ottawa’s Community Ambassador in more than 200 annual activities held during numerous popular and charitable events. He has helped raise more than 100 million $ for different causes during his 37 years as a very active member of the CTV Ottawa team.

He has been one of the most loyal Sound of Light supporter from its inception in 1996.

Marie-Claude Morin
Host

Even in highshcool, Marie-Claude already knew that she’d be talking for a living.  But it’s after a trip to Europe that her radio career really took off and she hasn’t looked back since!
She finally decided to settle down in the Outaouais in 2000 and has been the voice the listeners of RockDétente 94,9 like to listen to since then.
